The Quantum Approach reminds me of how we think about what makes a good entrepreneurial opportunity. We look for them in the nooks and crannies of existing markets, in the slices between markets, and in disruptions to the status quo, driven by things like deregulation, tech change, fragmented industries etc.   What we look for are changing circumstances, chaos, confusion, inconsistencies, lags or leads, and knowledge or information gaps, and by definition.

All these create opportunities, which are situational and exist in a window of opportunity. The Quantum Approach seems to be a way of thinking that pushes existing companies to think about their existing businesses this way.
